Why Obsidian

Obsidian Care was born from real experience gained in the studio, as well as from the desire to deeply understand how skin heals.

For years, we studied skin anatomy and physiology, the biological processes involved in regeneration, the natural mechanisms of healing, and the limitations of classic aftercare products. We analyzed how different ingredients interact with the skin and constantly tracked the results obtained under real conditions, over thousands of hours of work in the studio.

From this research, a simple question emerged:

We didn't start from generic formulas, nor from white-label products. We built the first and only Romanian brand dedicated exclusively to professional aftercare for tattoos and piercing, developing our own formulas together with specialists, tested in real studio conditions and refined through constant feedback from artists and clients.

Obsidian Care products are designed to support the skin's natural functions, allowing physiological oxygenation and regeneration, without the occlusive effect typical of products based on petrolatum, paraffin or Vaseline.

We use naturally derived ingredients, carefully selected for their effectiveness, smart fragrance made from steam-extracted botanical oils at low concentrations, and we avoid ingredients that needlessly weigh down the skin or create the greasy feel typical of traditional products.

The result is a completely different experience: fast absorption, high comfort, deep hydration and a cleaner, more even, more predictable healing process.

Every product is created starting from the real needs of artists. That's why the formulas are optimized for professional use, without compromising client comfort or performance during the tattooing process.

The products are made according to the Fresh Batch Only concept, in fresh, controlled batches, not in mass production stored for months. This system allows us to maintain the same premium quality and the same formula performance from the first to the last product.

The premium packaging (airless, spray and foam) was chosen to provide superior formula protection, precise dosing and a high level of hygiene, both in the studio and in everyday use.

All formulas are developed and manufactured in compliance with the European Cosmetics Regulation, meeting safety standards and notified for sale on the European Union market.

We understand the tattooing process from inside the studio, which is why every formula is tested under real conditions before launch and continuously improved based on field experience.

We develop products that we ourselves use, recommend, and trust to offer to every client who leaves the studio.
